There had been plenty of activities at nursery around Firework Night, lots of messy sticky hands!
We had made an explosive picture of fireworks whizzing in the sky and our rockets to hang. That surely gave us an appetite so we stuck right in by decorating apples with yummy runny chocolate and sprinkles. And if we had not had enough of chocolate we also made chocolate lollies to enjoy with our family on Firework Night (that’s if there was any left!)
There was lots of discussion about fireworks when we were making our treats and masterpieces. Everyone was very chatty describing the sounds fireworks made in the sky and looking at all their pretty colours.
