Why Are Craft Activities Good for Children?
World-renowned artist, Pablo Picasso, famously learnt to draw before learning to speak, with his first word being “pencil.” This often-told story captures the concept that creative talent starts at a young age, and it’s this reason that it’s important to ensure children have access to a range of craft activities from the moment they start nursery (and even before then).
That way, if they are more creatively inclined, they can nurture that talent, while also exploring new complementary skills.

Outdoor Exploration
One thing that we’re very proud of at Stars Day is to offer outdoor spaces and excursions at most of our nurseries, including ones in Peterborough city centre. Having access to fresh air and new surroundings helps open up your child’s imagination and creative thoughts.
