Policies and Procedures are on display in the cloakroom of the main building and mobile which include Confidentiality, Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Special Needs Medication and Complaints.
Settling in the Nursery
We want children to feel safe and happy in the absence of their parent/carer. In order to accomplish this we write a settling in programme for each child after discussion with a parent/carer to take place approximately 3-4 weeks before admission. During this time parents are requested to leave their child for short periods of time. Each child will take different times to settle. The frequency they attend the Nursery can also affect how your child settles.
Registering Your Child
If you have decided that you wish your child to attend First Steps Nursery, please complete the enrolment form in the back of the prospectus and return it to the Nursery together with a £50 booking deposit per child. You will be sent confirmation of a possible start date and arrangements will then be made for settling in sessions.
We operate a waiting list and places are allocated as per our admission policy, which is available on request.
